Peter Hahn
Chief Consulting Geologist

Mr. Hahn's geological career spans over 40 years of exploration & management experience with major companies in North and South America, in a variety of commodities and geologic environments with major companies (Cyprus-Amax, Kennecott, Union Carbide, Utah International) & Chief Geologist/VP of Nevada Resources.

He has a also been extensively involved with tungsten exploration and was involved in the discovery of two tungsten deposits in the U.S., and one gold mine in the Western U.S.

Andy Johnson
Project Manager - Indian Springs

Mr. Johnson is a Geological Engineer with over 30 years experience in the exploration, development, and production of mineral deposits, especially uranium, beryllium and gold. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of programs for the exploration and evaluation of mineral deposits, and was instrumental in the discovery of the beryllium deposits at Sierra Blanca, Texas. Mr. Johnson is a Certified Professional Geologist, a Certified Cost Engineer, and is a licensed geologist in the state of Washington.

Mike Perkins
Project Manager - Victorio

Mr. Perkins has diverse experience spanning almost 40 years in the exploration and development of gold and base metal properties, and copper and molybdenum porphyry systems. He has worked for major companies including Cities Services, Duval and Anaconda, and consulted for many junior mining companies before joining Galway Resources.

Tom Gibson
New Project Development Exploration

Tom Gibson has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, and among other strengths he has an expertise in geographic information systems (GIS), computer applications in mineral exploration, project management, property evaluations, and target generation. Mr. Gibson is extremely familiar with advancing copper exploration properties in North America, and contributed to the discovery of the Barneys Canyon/Melco open pit gold deposits in Utah.

Antonio Rivera
General Manager

A Colombian native and geologist, Mr. Rivera has over 25 years holding senior positions in Central and South America, working with various mining companies (Goldfields, BHP Billiton, Jordex Resources, Southwestern Gold etc...). Mr. Rivera is fluent in English and Spanish, and holds a Masters in Economic Geology from Stanford University.

Alfonso Gomez
Director of Administrative & Community Affairs

Mr. Gomez has over 25 years of experience working in the natural resource sector in Colombia. Mr. Gomez was Vice President of Community Affairs & Logistics for both Prodeco and the Cerrejon coal mine, the latter the largest coal mine in Latin America, largely owned by Xstrata. More recently, Mr. Gomez was the Coordinator of the United Nations Program for the Colombian Coal Industry. Mr. Gomez is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, and performed graduate studies in Economics at the University of Milan, Italy.

Hernando Lozano
Chief Geologist

Mr. Lozano has over 35 years working as an exploration geologist primarily focused on Colombia. Earlier on in his career Mr. Lozano was the Project Manager for a United Nations uranium exploration initiative. Subsequently, for over 10 years Mr. Lozano held senior positions with the Mining Ministry of Colombia (Ingeominas) including several years as the National Vice -Director of Ingeominas. Mr. Lozano has vast experience in the exploration and discovery of gold and coal. Mr. Lozano is fluent in Spanish and English, and received his Masters in Economic Geology from the University of North Carolina.

Jairo Naranjo
GIS Coordinator

Mr. Naranjo has over 15 years working as a geologist in both the minerals and oil sector of Colombia. His career started in underground coal mining, then he worked in regional exploration in Colombia, Guyana and Kyrgyzstan. His skills in GIS have been acquired through the last six years working for exploration firms in Colombia, with an orientation towards coal and precious metals exploration. Mr. Naranjo will be in charge of the exploration initiative associated with their metallurgical coal areas.
